Mission Statement

The Mission of Vocations is to promote new vocations, to celebrate and support current vocations at Our Lady of the Greenwood, through prayer and gatherings.

What is This Ministry About?

This ministry actively promotes vocations to the priesthood and religious life through prayer and various activities to raise awareness of the need for vocations and the need to support the current vocations that we have.

In the past we have offered:

• A yearly breakfast for our seminarians before they return to the seminary in the fall;
• A celebration of the World Day of Prayer for Vocations; and
• Monthly meetings for young men interested in the priesthood.

How Can One Become Involved In this Ministry?

This ministry needs volunteers to revitalize our committee to keep the tradition of vocations coming from Our Lady of the Greenwood. Please help us. Please join us. Please pray!

This committee could use people that can suggest methods and ways to promote vocations from Our Lady of the Greenwood parish; such as mass intentions for vocations as one idea.
