Purpose of the Stewardship CommitteeThe purpose of the Stewardship Committee is to avoid overloading the congregation (our Parishioner) with requests for funds and to maintain the parish stewardship integrity. The Stewardship Committee's responsibility is to evaluate requests for fundraising from both Our Lady of Greenwood ministries and from outside sources. Based on guidelines developed by the Parish Council, the committee will approve or deny specific fundraising requests. When Are Stewardship Committee Meetings?Meetings are schedule based on whether someone feels there is a need to raise money by conducting a fundraiser. Link here to the Fund Raising Policy section of this website for more information on procedures related to a fundraiser and to print off an application form for a fundraising activity. MembershipThe Stewardship Committee consists of four members; the pastor and three other members from the parish. The members on this committee are appointed. If interested, please check contact information below. The time commitment of volunteers would be about 2-4 hours per month, again depending on whether there is a request for a fundraising project.
