Gift Bearers

Purpose of This Ministry

The purpose of the Gift Bearers is to bring to the altar, the bread, wine and gifts at each Mass.

How Can One Become Involved in This Ministry?

This is an ideal ministry for families, to process forward as a family to present the gifts to the priest. It gets your children involved with the Liturgy very early; however, all are welcome and encouraged to participate.

We usually have fewer volunteers for the 12 noon and 6:00 p.m. Sunday Masses, so the frequency of being a gift bearer would vary according to the Mass you attend. The 12 Noon and 6:00 p.m. Sunday Masses are most in need of gift bearers. Please sign up! A schedule is sent out periodically and most families are only assigned once every 4 or 5 weeks.
