Rosary Group Ministry

Mission Statement

The Mission of the Rosary Group is to pray for the spiritual and physical needs of Our Lady of the Greenwood parish family through the Intercession of Mary, Queen of the Holy Rosary. Special requests dealing with regional, national, and international exigencies are also acknowledged.

What is This Ministry About?

The Rosary Group meets every Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the daily Mass chapel. The traditional three mysteries of the rosary and the Chaplet of Divine Mercy are routinely prayed.

Our Lady of the Rosary is our parish patroness. During many Marian apparitions, our Blessed Mother has asked for the daily recitation of the rosary. Amazing promises have been made to those who recite this prayer faithfully, including: "You shall obtain all you ask of me by the recitation of the rosary."

In the words of Pope Pius IX, "Among all the devotions approved by the Church none has been favored by so many miracles as the devotion of the Most Holy Rosary."

How to Become Involved in This Ministry?

Please feel free to join our Rosary Group each Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. in the chapel. All are welcome to pray with us to our Blessed Mother.
