Mission Statement
The Hispanic Ministry Mission is to make Jesus Christ relevant in our everyday lives as a community of believers witnessing to the gospel. We are committed to the service of our brothers and sisters in Christ through the tradition of our Catholic faith. Our love for one another will be the driving force enabling us to reach out to the members of our community, persons of all ages and diversities, moving to the future with a strong sense of mission.
What Is This Ministry About?
The purpose of the Hispanic Ministry is to invite our Hispanic parishioners to full participation in the life of the parish.
The Hispanic Ministry is concerned with the planning, coordinating and implementation of the spiritual and social needs of the Hispanic Ministry. Along with Our Lady of the Greenwood offering a Mass in Spanish every Sunday at 1:30 p.m. by Fr. Mike Keucher, the committee.

Goals of this Ministry
To make people feel at home. To strengthen their own sense of identify as they adapt to a different culture. Working areas to reach goals include:
- Dominical Liturgy
- Choir - Sunday Mass and Rehearsal on Friday
- Readers
- Eucharistic Ministers
- Bilingual Mass
- Sacramental Preparation
Goal Two
To form a structure to serve as a bridge with Our Lady of the Greenwood community. Working areas to reach goals include:
- Retreats
- Workshops
- Planning Activities with the Committees and Creating New Ones
- Leadership
- Youth Ministry
- Development of Ministries and Ministers
- Religious Formation - Bilingual
- Formation of Catechists
Goal Three
To invite Hispanics to develop a sense of belonging with the parish, to seek more meaningful ways to be involved in the parish life, having participation in activities and committees. Working areas to reach goals include:
- Familiar Convivios
- Cultural Celebrations
- Informative Bulletin
- English Classes
How Can One Become Involved in This Ministry?
Anyone can become involved in this ministry who possess the qualities of being bilingual, having a love of the Lord, and a love of people.
Volunteers making up the Hispanic Ministry should consist of:
- Two Leaders,
- Four Cathechists; and
- Nineteen liturgical ministers who posses the qualities of being bilingual.
