August 22nd & 23rd

In response to the devastating flooding affecting communities across central and southern Indiana, Archbishop Charles C. Thompson has requested that all parishes in the Archdiocese of Indianapolis take up a special collection during Masses this weekend (August 23).

Catholic Charities Disaster Response is already working with state and local emergency officials and other relief organizations to assess needs and coordinate assistance. Initial efforts include deploying crews to remove water-damaged materials from homes, tarp damaged roofs and clear fallen trees, as well as offering emotional and spiritual care. As recovery continues, Catholic Charities will also help communities organize long-term recovery efforts and connect affected homeowners and renters with the support they need.

Gifts to the special collection will help the Church accompany individuals and families facing loss, displacement, and the work of rebuilding.

The faithful are invited to give as they are able and to continue praying for those affected.

Checks may be made out to Secretariat of Catholic Charities and mailed to 1400 N. Meridian Street, Suite 105, Indianapolis, IN 46202.

Through our One Faith, One Family, One Future Capital Campaign, we are excited to renew our sanctuary space, ensuring it is a space that worships the Lord for years to come. This campaign is more than a building, it is about bringing our entire parish community together to ensure we can serve future generations.

Dear Parishioners,

We are thrilled to share the exciting news of the official kickoff of our Capital Campaign: One Faith, One Family, One Future. This campaign marks a truly important moment for our parish, as together we set out to renew our beloved worship space, ensuring we maintain it’s beauty and heritage for this generation and the next.

This campaign will look to accomplish a lot. New sound and lighting systems, renewed flooring and pews, as well as beautifying our altar to honor and worship our Lord. If you would like to see more of what we have in store we will have floorplans available to see after masses in the narthex.

At the end of masses we will have our Campaign Chairs, Pablo and Leticia Bernal, and Michael and Jeannie Dupont, share more details about this inspiring effort and ways you can become involved in shaping our future. Please also keep an eye on your mailbox, as additional information will be arriving soon, sharing more details about the campaign, and inviting you and your family to consider your support to these efforts.

Thank you for your continued faith, support, and love for our parish community! Please pray for the success ofthis campaign, and that our Lord may guide us in our efforts to restore and renew our central place of worship for Him.

God Bless,

Fr. Todd Goodson

Queridos feligreses,

Padre Todd Goodson
