The Octave of All Souls'

This year Our Lady of the Greenwood is hosting a whole week worth of events around the "Fall Triduum" of All Saints and All Souls:

Saturday, October 31st, there will be Holy Wins after the 5:30 Mass
Sunday, November 1st will have a 'day of the dead' fiesta in the school gym after the 10AM and 12:30 Masses. The high schoolers and middle schoolers will leave for a candlelit trip to pray at Calvary/St. Joseph's after the 5PM Mass.
Monday the 2nd, All Souls Day, we will have two special evening Masses to pray for the dead. The English Mass will be 6pm, and the Spanish Mass will be at 7:30.
Tuesday evening will have a requiem Mass to pray for the forgotten dead (those with no one to pray for them) at 6pm. A pilgrimage will follow this Mass.
Wednesday evening is still in the works, but there will be a special Mass at 6PM followed by a pilgrimage to a cemetery.
Thursday evening will have a requiem Mass at 6pm for all veterans and first responders in our community who have passed away. A pilgrimage will leave from the parish a little later, around 8pm.
Friday the 6th, will have a special Solemn Mass at 6pm celebrated as a Requiem for Infants who died before baptism.
Monday the 9th will be the annual Knights of Columbus requiem Mass in the evening at 6PM.

Este año, la parroquia Nuestra Señora de Greenwood organiza una semana completa de eventos en torno al Triduo Pascual de Todos los Santos y el Día de los Difuntos:

El sábado 31 de octubre, habrá una reunión de oración después de la misa de las 5:30pm.
El domingo 1 de noviembre, se celebrará una fiesta del Día de los Muertos en el gimnasio de la escuela después de las misas de las 10:00am y las 12:30pm. Los alumnos de secundaria y preparatoria partirán en una excursión a la luz de las velas para orar en Calvary/St Joseph después de la misa de las 5:00pm.
El lunes 2 de noviembre, Día de los Difuntos, se celebrarán dos misas vespertinas especiales para orar por los difuntos. La misa en inglés será a las 6:00pm y la misa en español a las 7:30pm.
El martes por la noche, a las 6:00pm, se celebrará una misa de réquiem para orar por los difuntos olvidados (aquellos por quienes nadie ora). Tras esta misa, se realizará una peregrinación.
La misa del miércoles por la noche aún está por concretarse, pero habrá una misa especial a las 6:00, seguida de una peregrinación a un cementerio.
El jueves por la noche, a las 6:00, se celebrará una misa de réquiem por todos los veteranos y socorristas de nuestra comunidad que han fallecido. La peregrinación partirá de la parroquia un poco más tarde, alrededor de las 8:00.
El viernes 6, a las 6:00, se celebrará una misa solemne especial en memoria de los niños que fallecieron antes del bautismo.
El lunes 9, a las 6:00, se celebrará la misa anual de réquiem de los Caballeros de Colón.
