WHO CAN SERVE?
This committee helps to encourage and enable our community's full, conscious and active participation in OLG liturgies.
Daily and weekend Masses, OLG school liturgies, Holy Days, Christmas, Holy Week, Easter, and other devotions such as Stations
of the Cross, are all planned and overseen by the liturgy committee.
The Liturgy Committee consists of priests, deacons, and parishioners who represent
various liturgical ministries: Lectors, Ushers, Altar Servers, Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion,
Music, Art and Environment, Sacristy, Altar Guild.
Any parishioner who has an interest in liturgical and sacramental life of the parish, is welcome to serve on the committee.
Members must be comfortable with both preparation and evaluation of liturgies, and must also embrace
the teachings of the Church and the mandates of the Second Vatican Council.
DUTIES
Liturgy Committee meets once each month, excluding June, July and August.
Planning is done for upcoming liturgies, ongoing liturgical formation is offered, and liturgical practices are evaluated.

¿QUIÉN PUEDE SERVIR?
Este comité ayuda a alentar y permitir la participación plena, consciente y activa de nuestra comunidad en las liturgias de OLG. Misas diarias y de fin de semana, liturgias escolares OLG, Días Santos, Navidad, Semana Santa, Semana Santa y otras devociones como Estaciones de la Cruz, son todos planificados y supervisados por el comité de liturgia. El Comité de Liturgia está formado por sacerdotes, diáconos y feligreses que representan varios ministerios litúrgicos: lectores, ujieres, monaguillos, ministros extraordinarios de la Sagrada Comunión, Música, Arte y Medio Ambiente, Sacristía, Cofradía del Altar. Cualquier feligrés que tenga interés en la vida litúrgica y sacramental de la parroquia es bienvenido a servir en el comité. Los miembros deben sentirse cómodos tanto con la preparación como con la evaluación de las liturgias, y también deben adoptar las enseñanzas de la Iglesia y los mandatos del Concilio Vaticano II.
DEBERES
El Comité de Liturgia se reúne una vez al mes, excepto junio, julio y agosto.
Se planifican las próximas liturgias, se ofrece formación litúrgica continua y se evalúan las prácticas litúrgicas.
